Altair Engineering has launched, in cooperation with Cosin Consulting, a next generation tire interface for
MotionSolve. This new interface is called Cosine Tire Interface (CTI).
- Using CTI, users will be able work with handling as well as durability tires.
- Altair MotionView has a built-in vehicle library which will not only support different tires but also controllers to control velocity and steering input of the vehicle.
- Altair has developed an efficient and computationally inexpensive handling tire called HTIRE. Using this tire, users can perform typical handling maneuvers such as lane change, constant radius analysis.
- Users can also use high fidelity FTIRE and 3D roads for complex durability or comfort analyses.
